Your item is not right for you or the size does not fit? Here is how to return your purchase to Look Hippie Chic. These conditions apply to online purchases made by private consumers.

Time limit and notification

You have 14 calendar days from receipt of your item to notify us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase, without having to give a reason.

Send a clear statement to contact@lookhippiechic.com or by post to Maison Halleux SRL, 45, rue de l’Esplanade, 4141 Louveigné, Belgium. Include your name, your order reference and the items concerned to help us process your request. You may use the model withdrawal form, but you do not have to do so.

Sending items back

After notifying us of your decision to withdraw, you have a further 14 days to send the items concerned to the return address below.

Pack them carefully to protect them during transport. We recommend including your order reference in the parcel and keeping proof of postage.

Condition of the items

You may inspect and try on the item as you would in a shop. You are only liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. This reduction in value may be deducted from your refund.

Where possible, keep the labels, accessories and original packaging. The absence of the original packaging alone does not remove your right of withdrawal.

Return costs

If you change your mind or the size does not fit, you bear the direct return costs, provided you were informed of this before purchasing and we have not agreed to cover them.

If the item is faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, contact us before sending it back. The costs necessary to bring it into conformity are covered in accordance with the statutory guarantee.

Refunds

We refund the price actually paid for the items concerned. If you withdraw from the entire order, we also refund the original delivery costs, up to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered at the time of purchase. The extra cost of a more expensive delivery method chosen by you is not refunded.

The refund is made no later than 14 days after we receive your decision to withdraw. However, we may withhold it until we receive the items back or receive evidence that you have sent them back, whichever happens first.

We use the same payment method as for your purchase unless you expressly agree to a different method without additional charges. Store credit or a shopping voucher will not be imposed on you instead of a refund.

Sale items and exceptions

Items purchased on sale or during a promotion have the same right of withdrawal as other items.

Only statutory exceptions may exclude this right, particularly for goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where they have been unsealed after delivery.

These exceptions apply only where the statutory conditions are met and do not limit your rights in the event of a defect or lack of conformity.

What should I do if my item is faulty, damaged or different from what I ordered?

For new goods purchased by private consumers, Maison Halleux SRL is liable for any lack of conformity that appears within two years of delivery.

Report the defect to contact@lookhippiechic.com as soon as possible and, in any event, within two months of discovering it. Include your order reference and describe the problem. Photos may help us process your request.

You are entitled to a free repair or replacement under the conditions set out by law. A price reduction or termination of the contract may be available where the statutory conditions are met.

Contact us before sending the goods so that we can arrange how to handle the return. We bear the costs necessary to bring the goods into conformity. The 14-day withdrawal period and the carrier’s complaint deadlines do not restrict this guarantee.
